What is storage access? I'm glad you asked! Anytime that you request TC & ME to copy, print from, or add to a DVD that is stored with us, TC & ME must retrieve your stored DVD from our storage facility, perform the requested task, and then return your DVD back to our storage facility. So, the retrieval and return of the DVD is considered an access. As a customer of TC & ME you automatically have 4 free storage accesses per contract year. An access is NOT limited to just one DVD. TC & ME strongly suggests grouping your service requests so that you use the fewest storage accesses possible. This will help us keep our costs down and allow us to provide you with the best possible service.
Inactive DVD's An inactive DVD is a DVD that has gone an entire contract year without being accessed. Since TC & ME has not had to access the DVD, we consider it an archive copy and the customer receives a discount on the storage price of the DVD during the next contract year. If, during this next contract year, the DVD is accessed then it will be considered an active DVD again and the normal storage rate will be applied the following contract year. For example the first year you are charged $35.00 for your first DVD stored with TC & ME. If you did not access this DVD for your entire contract year then the next year the you would only be charged $30.00. If during the second year you did have TC & ME access the DVD then the third year would be charged at $35.00 again. If you have any questions or concerns about our storage access please email us.
