If you've read Our Mission page then you already know that TC & ME is much more than just a digital imaging company. We not only digitize your images, documents, and video tape and write them to DVD, we also provide a way to safely and securely store a copy of that DVD as insurance against future disasters.

TC & ME's Storage Organization |
TC & ME uses a combination of barcoding and computerized tracking. Your DVD is delivered to our storage facility where a barcode is assigned to it, a barcode sticker is then applied to its packaging, and it is placed into storage. That barcode is then entered into our computer system and associated with your DVD. It is important to note that your name and personal information is not present on the storage packaging or any where else at the storage site. This is just one more step we take to secure your privacy and your DVDs. |

TC & ME's Storage Packaging |
TC & ME only uses windowless Tyvek sleeves for the long term storage of your DVDs. Tyvek doesn't melt until 275 degrees, is manufactured by Dupont, and is the best sleeve for storing your DVDs. Here is what Dupont's web site says about Tyvek packaging for DVDs: "Flexible packaging that protects as well as or better than a jewel box. Tyvek® Disc and DVD Packaging are the first flexible packaging solutions that not only outperform other flexible packaging systems, they protect as well as or better than a hard case. Incredibly strong, yet lightweight, silky smooth DuPont™ Tyvek® protective material is water- and chemical-resistant, tear-resistant and pH neutral. Its nonabrasive smoothness and antistatic properties prevent disc errors while generating none of the debris that can get on a disc and interfere with its readability or even damage its surface. For protecting sensitive media and valuable data, choose the only high-performance packaging designed and proven to protect discs best. Look for the Tyvek® logo — your assurance of quality." TC & ME's Storage Facilities |
Our storage facility is an offsite vault that has been constructed for the sole purpose of housing computer media such as tapes, CD's, and DVD's. The facility is equipped with a non-moisture fire suppression system and also has environmental controls that monitor and adjust the temperature and humidity within the vault. The vault itself is monitored 24 hours a day and 7 days a week and can only be accessed through a video monitored, key pass, security code system. Our storage facilities offer every safety and security measure for the safe storage of your DVD's. This is simply the safest place to store your valuable DVD. |
