Protecting and preserving your documents, pictures, and scrapbooks is of the utmost importance to the employees and owners of TC & ME. In fact, it is the only reason that we are in business! That is why we personally pick up and deliver your items ourselves. We do not ask our customers to risk having their items lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed by mailing us their documents, pictures, or scrapbooks and we do not sub-contract our pick up and delivery services.
Our pick up and delivery service uses only the best products available to protect your valuable items during transportation.
Our pickup and delivery vehicle is one of the safest vehicles on the road today. We use only Chevrolet Suburbans complete with on demand four wheel drive and OnStar theft deterrence and tracking system. These are the same vehicles used by the United States Secret Service to protect the President. (Note: Our Suburbans are not equipped the same as the Secret Service's Suburbans and ours are not bullet proof.) In case of fire, we maintain two fire extinguishers in each Suburban at all times.
During transportation your items will be protected in a waterproof, dustproof, airtight, and crushproof container manufactured by Pelican Products. For more specific information on the actual case used by TC & ME please see our Transportation Case page.
As an added security feature, TC & ME has chosen security and safety over advertising. Therefore, none of our delivery vehicles or storage containers used during the transportation of your items are marked with any TC & ME symbols or advertising of any kind. So our Suburbans do not attract attention or alert thieves or criminals to our presence or the presence of your items.
